Parametric LCA based ecodesign project management tool for Power Electronics

The Parametric LCA-based ecodesign project management tool for Power Electronics was developed as part of Li Fang's doctoral research. This tool is designed to help product design teams integrate the Parametric LCA model of the product and Parametric LCA-based ecodesign process into their existing product development workflows, with a primary focus on Power Electronics products. However, it can be adapted to other application fields by adjusting the workflow and data collection structure to align with the specific tools and platforms already in use within different work environments.


The tool provides a clear structure for each phase of the ecodesign process, from initial PLCA modeling to conceptual and detailed design stages. The tool integrates various templates to support ecodesign activities throughout the product development process.


Developed within the Notion environment, it serves as a prototype for managing a PE ecodesign project, which can also be used as a reference for implementing the process in other software environments.
